It's a good idea, sure. But it doesn't solve the problem. How about asking every billionaire to donate 50 percent of his / her wealth to philanthropic causes. There are hundreds of billionaires now. They'd still have plenty of wealth and their money would go a much longer way to improving society. We need a change in values so that wealth is not the highest priority as it is now.
